Hang on to your Stetson: Stoney’s Live at Cargo Concert Hall starts tonight.
In what is planned as a weekly event, Stoney’s Live features live country music, DJs, dance lessons and cowgirls dressed for fun.
For the opening event, the cover is just $5.
Tim Montana takes the stage at 9:30 p.m. Thursday. With ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, Montana co-wrote the song “This Beard Came Here to Party.” It was the theme song for the hairy 2013 Boston Red Sox.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and line dancing kicks off at 8 p.m. The Cargo Concert Hall is located on the ground level of the Whitney Peak Hotel, attached to the Reno Arch.
Cargo’s country continues on Friday when Whitey Morgan hits the stage.
