Powabunga, a three-day electronic music festival that took off last year at the Vail Ski Resort in Colorado, will be headed west this year, with its inaugural Tahoe event set for March 20-22 at the Tahoe Biltmore in Crystal Bay.

With a lineup featuring DJs and performers from across the EDM spectrum, including Bob Moses, Claptone, Eli & Fur, Desert Hearts Takeover, Mark Farina, Fleetmac Wood, and nearly a dozen others, Powabunga will be announcing additional performers as the fest dates draw closer.

Powabunga is known for setting up nightly afterparties in local venues to keep the music and partying continuing late.

Early bird three-day general admission tickets are priced at $99, with VIP options also available at $299. Stages will be set up throughout the property, including outdoors.

ABOUT Shaun Astor

Picture of Shaun Astor
Shaun Astor cites pop music singers and social deviants as being among his strongest influences. His vices include vegan baking, riding a bicycle unreasonable distances and fixating on places and ideas that make up the subject of the sentence, "But that’s impossible…" He splits his time between Reno and a hammock perched from ghost town building foundations.
