The South Lake Tahoe Cancer League rocks.
To support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a pair of upcoming shows at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will benefit the local organization.
Reno’s funky septet Mojo Green will perform in Vinyl at 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21. A raffle will be held throughout the concert. All of the ticket ($10) and raffle proceeds will be donated.
At 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, an evening with film and comedy great Dan Aykroyd will be presented by Elwood Blues’ favorite libation, Crystal Skull Vodka. The event includes appetizers and vodka tastings and an in-depth question-and-answer session with Aykroyd. Live art auctions will go to the South Lake Tahoe Cancer League.
General admission tickets start at $49. For the vodka connoisseurs, guests can take home an autographed bottle of Crystal Head Vodka for $99. Guests can book tickets online by visiting hardrockcasinolaketahoe.com, or by stopping by the Rock Shop. Doors open at 6 p.m. Must be age 21 or older.
