We’ve really got it Made in Tahoe.
The event featuring Tahoe bands and locally made products will be held twice this year.
Made in Tahoe in The Village at Palisades Tahoe will be Memorial Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, May 28-29, and in the fall, Oct. 28-29. Times are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This month’s Made in Tahoe is the closing weekend for skiing and riding at the resort.
The festival features live music and performances on three stages, as well as close to 100 vendors offering food, drink, skis, boards, lifestyle apparel and artisan goods that are made, inspired or designed in the Lake Tahoe Basin and Truckee areas.
This spring’s Made in Tahoe will feature local entertainment by Peter Joseph Burtt and the King Tide, The Residents, Spaceheaters, PorterHaus, Old Man Fuller and the Mighty Mike Schermer Duo on the main stage.
Steel Sparrows, BC and The Remedy, Down the Rabbit Hole and Wild Ginger will also take to the second stage. Plus Mr. D DJ Services spinning tunes all day to add to the music.
Discover, explore, and experience our special community, rich with talented creators. This one-of-a kind event, which will take place, rain, snow or shine provides an amazing opportunity to outfit yourself, your home or take care of any unique gifts you need for friends, teachers and family.
The event includes performances by students from Tahoe Truckee School of Music; festival goers can also enjoy aerial and themed performances and workshops by Tahoe Flow Arts plus crowd pleasing dance by Truckee Dance Factory.
Local food and beverage will be offered in abundance with proceeds from all drink sales benefiting the Tahoe Food Hub. Yummy eats will be available from Mog Rog, Slice of Switzerland, EatsCooking Company, Mountain Lotus Provisions, Little Truckee Ice Creamery, Super Swirl and Swiss Chalet, in addition to the restaurants in the Village.
