Lavish Green celebrated 21 years of rocking South Lake Tahoe with a July 3 birthday bash at Audibles Sports Bar in Stateline. Band members Chris Sanchez on trumpet and lead vocals, Joel Gruneich on guitar, Rob Wheeler on bass and Danny Barnes on drums were joined by longtime cohort Seth Hall on saxophone. VTA (aka Vincenzo Thomas Amato) opened the evening with a set of acoustic rock and funk. Audibles owners Jesse Yohnka and Ron Baker hosted the lavish affair, with support from Tahoe Blue Vodka, which provided some birthday beads and other swag, along with fuel for Blue Blasters and Blue Mules. More than 140 fans met the band “At the Bar” to join in the celebration.
