4 winter concerts announced for Lake Tahoe’s north, south shores

Never forget Elephant Revival is coming to the Crystal Bay Casino on March 8.

On a windy, snowy Tuesday, Tahoe music promoters made news that will stoke fires.

Colorado’s transcendental folk band Elephant Revival will perform March 8 in the Crystal Bay Casino, announced Devil Dog Productions. The band plays a blend of Scottish and Celtic fiddle tunes along with folk, indie rock and reggae. Tickets go on sale Dec. 13.

Yonder Mountain String Band will play in the MontBleu Theatre on April 3, Paul Reder Entertainment announced Tuesday. Presale begins Dec. 6, and tickets ($25) will be available Dec. 13 on Ticket.Fly.com

While country music is a staple of South Shore’s Summer Outdoor Concert Series, it rarely is offered in Harrah’s Lake Tahoe’s South Shore Room. Country singer Kellie Pickler will play Feb. 15. Tickets ($77.50) go on sale Dec. 13, Director of Entertainment John Packer said.

Harrah’s on Tuesday also announced Canada rockers Walk Off The Earth will perform Jan. 10 in the South Shore Room. Tickets ($38.50) will be sold starting Jan. 10.
