Rusted Root in Crystal Bay Oct. 23

Rusted Root will perform in the Crystal Bay Casino Crown Room this fall, Devil Dog Productions announced.

The Pittsburgh band will be in Tahoe onstage at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23. Tickets go on sale Friday for $22.

Rusted Root is a percussion-heavy jam band that plays a fusion of African, Latin American and Native American music.

An opening band will be announced later.

Tim Parsons is the editor of Tahoe Onstage who first moved to Lake Tahoe in 1992. Before starting Tahoe Onstage in 2013, he worked for 29 years at newspapers, including the Tahoe Daily Tribune, Eureka Times-Standard and Contra Costa Times.
