Russell Brand will perform at Tahoe this summer.
The English actor and comedian will onstage in the MontBleu Theater July 27, Paul Reader of PR Entertainment announced Tuesday, May 14.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 19 at the MontBleu Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations. Prices range from $55 to $75.
Brand is well known for controversial behavior such as being booted from MTV after dressing as Osama bin Laden and broadcasting prank phone calls which caused a stir with the BBC. Brand was once married to Katy Perry. He has appeared in numerous movies, including “Get Him to the Greek” and “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.”
