Gift of Gab and Pigeon John will perform at 10 p.m. June 14 in the BLU nightclub, a MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa representative confirmed today with Tahoe Onstage.
Both hip-hop solo artists with Quannum Projects possess fast, clever and humorous lyrics about pop culture and contemporary issues.
A Bay Area native who has recorded since 1999, Gift of Gab was in the duo Blackalicious with DJ Chief Xcel. He has collaborated with Del the Funky Homosapien, Brother Ali, Chali 2na, Cut Chemist and DJ Vadim.
Pigeon John, named after a religious experience he said he had with a bird, is from Los Angeles. He has three solo albums and has four solo albums and was with L.A. Symphony and Brainwash Projects.
The Tahoe show was announced on Pigeon John’s website.
