With all the attention on 420, 419 sometimes feels left out. Not this year.
A “420 PreParty” will be at Blue Nightclub in the MontBleu Resort, Hotel, Casino & Spa on Friday, April 19. Doors open at 10 p.m., and the party will last until 4:20 a.m., April 20.
Late-Nite Productions “Late-Nite” Billy Drewitz calls it, “The Party Before the Party.”
Antiserum from Smog Records in San Francisco, is the headliner. There will be six more DJs and producers from Tahoe, listed like preliminary prize fights: Unkle Dubson vs. Bassment-Ality, Phil Harmonic vs. Benjah Ninjah from Mindful Massive and Equinox vs. Oscar Daniel.
Unfortunately, “Smokin’ Joe” Frazier isn’t around anymore for the 420 card.
On Saturday, MontBleu Theatre is the site for “#420 starring Kill Paris and Candyland.” Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show begins at 9. Tickets, including fees, are $12. Tickets are available at the MontBleu Box office and at 1-888-829-7630.
In BluNightclub, the weekly Boogie Nights will be themed “Animal House Night.” Those wearing a toga gain free entry. Doors open at 8 p.m.
