On a weekend when thousands of celebrity-golf fans rolled into Tahoe, Third Eye Blind celebrated the 20th anniversary of releasing its self-titled debut album. The San Francisco band entertained a packed crowd on Sunday, July 16, at the Lake Tahoe Outdoors Arena at Harveys.
Undoubtedly, fans were ready for “Jumper” — (“I wish you would step away from that ledge my friend…”)
Perhaps it was no coincidence that a Bay Area band performed on the day that former Oakland A’s hurler Mark Mulder booked a three-peat victory at the American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe golf course. Three’s company, no doubt, and with Third Eye Blind onstage, there was no looking back.
