There was nothing bittersweet about Big Head Todd and the Monsters’ Jan. 17 show in Crystal Bay Casino at Lake Tahoe’s North Shore with Mike Doughty. The band delighted a sold-out Crown Room crowd, and Tahoe Onstage photographer Larry Sabo was there to capture the fun. Big Head Todd and the Monsters also released a single last month — “Wipeout Turn” — and currently is touring throughout the Midwest and East Coast, with stops that include the Whiskey Road House in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Wednesday, Feb. 3, the House of Blues in Chicago on Saturday, Feb. 6, and the World Café Live in Philadelphia on Valentine’s Day.
