The Grateful Bluegrass Boys, Bison

The Grateful Bluegrass Boys and Bison perform at Live at Lakeview from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The Grateful Bluegrass Boys plays the music of the Grateful Dead and other classic rock through a bluegrass lens, featuring members of Hot Buttered Rum and the David Thom Band. Bison is a South-Shore based bluegrass quartet. It plays about 70 percent cover tunes, ranging from the Devil Makes Three to the Stooges. “Bison is still alive and kickin,” said mandolin player Andy Hatch. “It’s a good go-to band. It’s easily digestible — all ages get into Bison.”
