Imagine Dragons get the celebrity golf weekend at Harveys Outdoor Arena.

Fiery ascending in the music world, the Imagine Dragons are “one of the hottest rock groups today,” Harrah’s and Harveys Director of Entertainment John Packer said Tuesday.
Packer also announced the reggae group Slightly Stoopid has been added to the Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series.
Imagine Dragons will perform Saturday, July 18, right in the middle of the American Century Championship, the annual celebrity golf tournament held across the street from the Harveys Outdoor Arena at the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. Slightly Stoopid appears Aug. 13, along with Dirty Heads and Stick Figure. Tickets for Imagine Dragons and Slightly Stoopid will be on sale March 20.

There are nine concerts announced so far.
“There will be a few more but I can’t tell you who they will be yet,” Packer said.
Based out of Las Vegas, the Imagine Dragons members met at Boston’s Berklee School of Music.
“Smoke + Mirrors,” the second Imagine Dragons album, spent time in 2014 at No. 1 on the Billboard and Alternative Rock Charts. It won numerous awards last year, including a Grammy for Best Rock Performance.
