
With their trademark red leather pants, bandannas, big rock sound and high-energy live shows, Loverboy has sold more than 10 million albums. They will bring that magic to the Carson Valley Inn on Friday, Aug. 9, in a sunset show at TJ’s Corral.
Tickets are $59 and $69 and will be on sale this Friday, April 19, at noon on the Carson Valley Inn website or at the hotel front desk.
Loverboy has earned four multi-platinum plaques, including the 4-million-selling “Get Lucky,” and a trio of double-platinum releases in their self-titled 1980 debut, 1983’s “Keep It Up” and 1985’s “Lovin’ Every Minute of It.”
Their string of hits includes, in addition to the anthem “Working for the Weekend,” such arena rock staples as “Lovin’ Every Minute of It,” “This Could Be the Night,” “Hot Girls in Love,” “The Kid is Hot Tonite,” “Notorious,” “Turn Me Loose,” “When It’s Over,” “Heaven In Your Eyes” and “Queen of the Broken Hearts.”
With the addition of Loverboy, the 2019 TJ’s Corral concert lineup so far is Easton Corbin on Friday, May 24, Kenny G on Saturday, June 8, Uncle Kracker on Saturday, June 29, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts on Thursday, July 4, Dwight Yoakam on Friday, July 26, Martina McBride on Sunday, Aug. 4, and Loverboy on Friday, Aug. 9.
