Bilingual Mexican-American rapper Snow Tha Product is known for her fast-paced flow, having collaborated with artists such as Ludacris, Bizarrap, Snoop Dogg and Tech N9ne. The rapper, actor and podcast host is on the verge of releasing her album “VALEMADRE,” and will bring her Dale Gas Tour to Reno’s Cargo Concert Hall on Saturday, May 21.
Those who have seen her play know that a Snow Tha Product show consists of high-energy rapping and often taking shots mid-show with the crowd. The Vibe Higher rapper and California native has been on the scene 2007 after she left school to pursue music. Since her first album, 2011’s “Unorthodox,” she has been putting out a nonstop catalog of singles and mix tapes – most being on her independently owned record label.
These days, she’s been hosting a podcast, “EVERYNIGHTNIGHTS,” that takes on everything from love and relationships to personal stories as the child of religious immigrant parents to partying on tour. Though the Dale Gas Tour will be a lot lighter on the talk, and more emphasis on her 15 years of music, which most recently got her a Latin GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Song.
