Grammy winner Chris Stapleton is coming to Tahoe this week, but first Luke Bryan will take the stage.
Hours after winning three Grammy Awards, Chris Stapleton was added to the Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series. Country music’s hottest star will perform Thursday, July 26, at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys. Legendary Marty Stuart will open, along with Brent Cobb.
Stapleton picked up Grammys for Best Country Album, “From A Room: Volume 1,” Best Country Solo Performance, “Either Way,” and Best Country Song, “Broken Halos.” He has won five Grammys in his solo recording career, which began after fronting a bluegrass band, The SteelDrivers, from 2008 to 2010.
Tickets range in price from $149.50, $89.50 and $69.50, plus fees and taxes.

A record 18 shows will be held at 2018 Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series at Harveys Outdoor Arena. The final show announced was The London pop band Florence & The Machine, which will appear in Tahoe onstage Thursday, Aug. 9.
This is the 17th season for the series that began in 2002 after the Harveys and Harrah’s Lake Tahoe merged. The capacity for general admission shows is about 9,500. Parking at Harveys and Harrah’s Lake Tahoe will be $20.

Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Saturday, June 23
Hurry, before the levee breaks, score some tickets to Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters on Saturday, June 23, at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys. Oh yeah, Los Lobos will be there to warm things up.
On Monday, Plant announced additional dates for his Carry Fire tour. Presale tickets for the 7:30 p.m. Tahoe show begin Thursday, March 8, at 10 a.m. with a password of “carry.” Prices are $139.50, $89.50 and $59.50, plus fees and taxes. General sales begin Friday, March 9.
Plant, 69, served as lead vocalist and lyricist for Led Zeppelin. He still garners a whole lotta love from fans across the globe. That includes the Sierra Nevada, where the frontman played with Alison Krauss and T Bone Burnett at Harveys in 2008 in the bluegrass project Raising Sand Revue. He also performed at High Sierra Music Festival on the Fourth of July in 2013 with the Sensational Space Shifters.
Kenny Chesney, Monday, July 3
Kenny Chesney will appear in the Summer Concert Series, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 3. Chesney will bring his Trip Around the Sun Tour to Lake Tahoe with special guests Old Dominion. Tickets for the all-ages show are $149.50 for front floor, $89.50 for rear floor and $69.50 for bleachers.
An Evening with Pitbull, Friday, July 13
Every dog gets its day and Pitbull’s has landed on one of the most-coveted times of the year: Friday after the opening round of the American Century Championship, the celebrity golf tournament held across the street. Tickets range from $59.50 to $149.50.
Cuban-American rapper Pitbull, born Armando Perez, toured large venues with labelmate Ke$ha in 2013 as he backed his seventh studio album, Global Warming. The album topped the U.S. rap chart and spawned the Top 10 hit “Feel This Moment” (featuring Christina Aguilera). The Miami-based star, who raps in both English and Spanish, has gained a reputation as a crowd-pleasing, suave performer, essentially serving as a great host who delivers the music his fans want to hear in concert. His live shows usually feature a few dancers, a band, and special guests who help him create a party atmosphere for the fans who scored tickets.
Two evenings with Phish, Tuesday and Wednesday, July 17-18
An Evening with Phish kicks off its summer tour with two shows Tuesday and Wednesday, July 17-18, at Harveys in Stateline, Nevada. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6:30 p.m.
Phish also played two shows at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Lake Tahoe in 2013.
In a career spanning more than 33 years, Phish has become one of the most significant live music phenomena of all time. On the basis of word-of-mouth about their performances — with virtually no radio or video support — the Burlington, Vermont band grew from playing club gigs along their native East Coast to drawing 100,000 music fans to remote corners of the country. At every turn, Phish managed to win over newcomers and casual fans as well as maintain the loyalty of their devotees with a singularly broad repertoire, virtuosity, and by making a unique event of each show. Band Members are Trey Anastasio, Jon Fishman, Mike Gordon and Page McConnell.
Keith Urban and Kelsea Ballerini, Saturday and Sunday, July 21-22
Keith Urban, the country music star from Australia, will play two shows, Saturday and Sunday, July 21-22. Regular ticket sales start at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26. Front floor seats are $139.50, rear floor $89.50 and bleacher seats are $59.50.
The Graffiti U World Tour includes eight shows in Canada. Twenty-four year old Kelsea Ballerini will open for Urban.

Ask Luke Bryan. He’ll be at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys on Wednesday, July 25, for a concert with special guest Morgan Wallen. Tickets are $149.50 and $89.50, plus fees and taxes.
Bryan’s “What Makes You Country” album was released last year. The record has been so popular that he named this year’s summer tour after it.
People talkin’ ’bout what is and what ain’t country
What gives ’em a right to wear a pair of beat-up boots?
Is it the size of your tires and your fires, or your wild ass buddies?
Well, give me a minute, let me hit you with some hometown truth…

During a performance last fall in Reno, Jackson led a stage at times filled with as many as 16 people between musicians and dancers. She also showed herself as a master of audience interaction, singling out concertgoers for a blown kiss or a wink and an expression of gratitude. Her selection of dancers also notably included those across the age, size and appearance spectrums.
Amy Schumer & Friends, Sunday, Aug. 12
Comedy returns to the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys for the first time in more than a decade when Amy Schumer & Friends appear on Sunday, Aug. 12. Tickets range from $62 to $132 and the show starts at 8 p.m.
Steve Miller and Peter Frampton, Friday, Aug. 17
Do you feel like I do?
This one seems like an old-fashioned Day on the Green at the Oakland Coliseum. Steve Miller, The Space Cowboy and Gangster of Love, will be joined by Brit pop-rocker Peter Frampton at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, for a concert under the stars at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys.
Tickets for the all-ages show are $139.50, $69.50 or $39.50, plus fees and taxes, at apeconcerts.com or ticketmaster.com.
Frampton joined the Steve Miller Band on tour last summer. Both artists said they look forward to a reunion in 2018.
“2017 was an amazingly beautiful, creative and rewarding music experience for our band and our audience,” Miller said. “The band and production crew are working on creating an even better concert experience for 2018 and plan on wading even deeper into the musical waters. Peter Frampton and I enjoyed last summer. There is so much to explore and we are really looking forward.”
Frampton added: “Having had such a fantastic tour together last summer, Steve and I decided to keep going this year! Jamming together each night during Steve’s set is one of my favorite moments of the evening. Can’t wait to get back out there.”
Frampton left the band Humble Pie in 1971 to start a solo career that included the seminal 1976 album “Frampton Comes Alive!”
Charlie Puth, Saturday, Aug. 18
Singer-songwriter Charlie Puth has garnered a lot of attention in the past two years, so it only makes sense he was the first artist to be announced for the concert series.
Puth will appear appear at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, with special guest Hailee Steinfeld when his Voicenotes Tour stops in Tahoe. Tickets range from $39.50 to $69.50. The show is expected to sell out, but the venue sometimes releases last-minute tickets.
New Jersey-born multiple GRAMMY Award-nominated multiplatinum artist, songwriter and producer Puth, 26, catapulted to superstardom in 2016 at light speed. He maintained this perpetual motion with the 2017 single “Attention,” which he appropriately wrote and produced on a Japanese bullet train. Following the song’s debut at a groundbreaking Los Angeles music exhibit dubbed #THEATTENTIONROOM, critical applause exploded, with The New York Times proclaiming it “a savage takedown rendered in pinpoint 1980s soft-soul haze smacked hard by glossy funk.” The song cracked 3 million Spotify streams in just a week, and its music video racked up more than 3 million views in under 24 hours.
