Photographer’s notebook: Blues great Steve Freund was the guest artist July 14 playing along with the Buddy Emmer Blues Band for the Harrah’s Monday Night Blues series. Originally from Chicago, Steve now is based in the San Francisco Bay Area where he is best known. It was standing room only for Steve as he pumped out his easy-going Chicago style blues. Steve commented on more than one occasion how great the band was, which they are, and how they were “workin’ him”. Once again a great show and great sound. –– Kurt Johnson
