Ron Artis II & The Truth remind people that being true, genuine and full of love is what it’s all about.
The band will perform songs from the newly released album, “Love is Love,” and rocking the classics from his first album, “Soul Street,” on Friday, Oct. 18 at Alibi Ale Works – Truckee Public House.
Artis is known for his powerful vocals, killer guitar skills and moving messages. His louder-than-life voice makes the messages he sings about palpably enter the souls of those in the audience – that must be why they call it “soul” music. Full of soul and truth, as his band name and album name suggest, his musical style can be described also as deep blues, R&B and gospel.
This show is benefiting “Arts for the Schools,” exemplifying that we really can have our cake and eat it too.
After the show there will be a VIP meet and greet which is something you won’t want to miss if you’re already a fan of Artis. Talking with him about life and his art will leave you feeling warm, fuzzy and at peace. You may even meet his daughters who tour with him. Ask his brother Stevon, the drummer about his other music project, and Ernie Ecreala Jr. the bassist how he met the Artis family while living in Hawaii.
Come feel the power of his soulful performance first hand, and benefit the arts at the same time.
