Coronavirus blues: ‘Kingfish’ Ingram shares ‘Hard Times’

In a matter of weeks, times have changed for many people. For many, it really is a moment of “Hard Times.” I wanted to do something, a simple gesture, for both my fans and for people who may not know me as a musician. People may be going through times of uneasiness, so I was hoping I could express something comforting for them. As for the video, through social media, I asked fans if they would be willing to share photos and videos of themselves ‘self isolating,’ ‘practicing social distancing,’ ‘quarantining,’ or simply hanging out with their love ones. Many people sent over great images, so I was happy that I could give them a special nod and hopefully a little comfort that we will all get through this.
