Shaun Astor / Tahoe Onstage
After playing together as a band for 39 years, notorious pop punk contrarians NOFX have put together a pretty good routine for their current tours – namely a weekend-date-only lineup of classic bands and all you can drink beer. Such is the formula behind the Punk In Drublic Craft Beer & Music Festival, which is scheduled for its annual stop in Sacramento on Saturday, May 7.
The daylong show takes on the feel of something of a carnivalistic picnic, with bands taking the stage while a mix of food trucks, game booths and craft breweries all sling their respective wares throughout the stadium grounds.
NOFX are headlining, while Pennywise, Face To Face, The Bouncing Souls, The Bombpops and Get Dead also will perform.
The stadium opens at noon, and admission comes with a small refillable mug that gets you unlimited free pours from all the participating craft brewers until 3 p.m. at which point you can nap it off at the back of the lawn or head to the front for the lineup of music.
Tickets start at $55 for general admission, with VIP tiers available that include early entry to the beer area, a reserved seating area and band meet & greets.
