Reno’s OffBeat Music Festival – 2 Nights of local and national talent set to go down October 4th-5th

September 2024

Cooler weather has settled over the Reno-Tahoe area, and lovers of the area’s diverse music scene know that this means the return of Reno’s annual multi-day party and music festival, OffBeat Music Fest!

Never settling for repeating the formula, OffBeat brings a wide array of local and national artists to the area to take over a mix of venues – this year several breweries, bars and show spaces along the city’s East 4th Street “Brewery District” will play host to the 50+ bands and performers.

Headlining acts include electronic music producer Maddy O’Neal, the always entertaining musical shapeshifters Ghost Funk Orchestra, and the punk sounds of Tommy Guerrero. In addition, attendees can catch the party soul of Con Brio, Pacific Northwestern country Roselit Bone, Bay Area garage band Dead Seagals, the lofi kitchen soul of Spencer Kilpatrick and the Sand Gators, and a variety of others traversing the aural spectrum.

OffBeat always makes of point of putting local talent on display – this year’s festival includes indie rockers Charity Kiss, infectiously dancey Jenes N The Juice, sadcore Faint Shape, perpetually hip Moondog Matinee, and basement party rockers The Happy Trails, among others.

Additionally, OffBeat will have a block party in the center of all the action where attendees can drop in and check out performers on the outdoor stage, or indulge in the vendors, drinks and food trucks.

Bringing a host of bands and performers to Reno for a two night period, OffBeat remains one of the unmissable events for those looking to enjoy a weekend of modern, fun music in a city generally known for lying far off the beaten path.

OffBeat offers weekend General Admission and VIP wristbands, along with single day wristbands for sale. The block party is free and all ages are welcome.
