Punk Rock Bowling – the manic Memorial Day Weekend festival that takes place each year in downtown Las Vegas – has announced its lineup for 2020, and it reads like a brick to the face of epicness.
Madness (making their first U.S. appearance since 2012), The Circle Jerks (playing their first show since 2011), Cock Sparrer, Lunachicks, the always amazingly epic Mighty Mighty Bosstones, reunited sets from Avail and Propagandhi, multi-media performers The Adicts, punk legends Stiff Little Fingers and G.B.H. — these are just a few more than 40 bands announced for the three-day festival.
Aside from the actual festival itself, which takes place at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center over two stages, there are also Texas Hold’Em and actual bowling tournaments that take place, along with offsite pool parties where you can catch mohawks in swimming pool circle pits. In addition to all of this, a number of club shows take place throughout downtown Vegas, often with reunited or favorite bands on par with those announced for the festival itself.
And those looking to head down to Vegas for this one may want to act fast – immediately after the lineup announcement, the cheapest three tiers of tickets, along with all VIP passes sold out almost instantly.
Despite having occurred annually for more than 20 years now, Punk Rock Bowling continues to make changes each year that make it a constantly evolving bigger and a better festival.
