Nearing the end of the Longest Line for NOFX – Band’s final area show announced for Salt Lake City

Year in and year out, it seems one band has lasted longer than most other punk bands out there. Going on 40 continuous years as a group, NOFX is embarking on what bass player and primary spokeperson Fat Mike Burkett has said will be the band’s final run of shows ever.

“This is not a final tour like Mötley Crüe or Black Sabbath…These are the very last shows NOFX will ever be playing. We are gonna play with all our hearts…With all our joy…And then we are done. We are done done,” Burkett has said.

After playing their final Bay Area show Fall of 2023, the band’s final regional show will take place April 13th, 2024 in Salt Lake City, Utah (with the exception of the last last shows taking place over three days in Los Angeles in October of 2024.)

For this final run, NOFX has organized a series of shows in their Punk In Drublic Festival formation, that is free beer during the afternoon, a lineup typically consisting of around a half dozen bands playing from day until evening, and the band taking the stage promising to play the entirety of two albums from their catalog each night, along with other well known staples.

The formula for this final tour has been, in their 40th year as a band, 40 cities around the globe, 40 songs performed each night. All at outdoor venues with the commitment of refusing to play any Ticketmaster locations.

April’s show will take place at Pioneer Park, attendees have the choice between General Admission, VIP upgrades, or onstage viewing.
