Music On The Beach will be back this summer.
The 15th season of shows at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area will have eight shows on Fridays from July 9-Sept. 3. The music begins at 6 p.m.
The free shows are presented by the North Tahoe Business Association.
“We need it,” said Kerry Andras, the NTBA’s community relations manager.
The 2020 beach concerts season was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, five shows were held at the events center and live streamed online and on Truckee-Tahoe Radio. It is possible some of this season’s shows will be streamed, too.
Here’s the schedule: July 9, Pacific Vibration; July 16, The Gold Souls; July 23, Mescalito; July 30 Coburn Station; Aug. 13, Jelly Bread; Aug. 20, Bicicletas Por La Paz; Aug. 27, Sol Peligro; Sept. 3, Achilles Wheel.
