There’s an opalescent buzz in Stateline this winter. Electrify: Rock N’ Roll Burlesque is the hottest show in town, performed twice a week through March at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe.

The seven-member cast entertains the audience with dancing, improvisational humor and rock and pop music, such as psychedelia, Michael Jackson and Led Zeppelin. The cast is made up entirely of Lake Tahoe residents.

The hourlong show has constantly sold out the Vinyl nightclub since it opened in January.

“Electrify is a sultry, yet entertaining show that transports you through the world of rock n roll,” Hard Rock spokeswoman Brandie Warr. “It’s a unique production unlike anything the local area has seen before.”

The show is produced by Dreu Murin and Madeline Feldman.

“Electrify brings a unique fresh and edgy full production show to Lake Tahoe,” Murin said. “It’s  high energy, sexy, comedic and original at a Las Vegas caliber. It sold out the first six weeks straight, which is a first in a long time for the area. The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has been such a great partner and this show expresses the energy the property is carrying into 2018.”
