Erica Rhodes is no stranger to the stage. The comic got her start at age 13 on “A Prairie Home Companion,” playing the role of Garrison Keillor’s conscience. Since then, she attended the Boston University College of Fine Arts in her home state of Massachusetts before graduating from New York’s Atlantic Theater Conservatory.
These days, while her looks may be recognizable from appearances on “Modern Family” and “New Girl,” it’s her voice that may be even more recognizable. The comedienne makes light of her higher pitch voice in her appearances.
With a track list of film and television roles, late night talk show appearances, and competing on reality competition series, Rhodes will be bringing her stage act to Reno for a series of headlining dates this week.
Those looking to get a glimpse of her standup can check out her three live comedy albums available on the streaming services – 2021’s “I Love You More,” the Amazon featured “La Vie en Rhodes!” And her 2019 “Sad Lemon” recording.
