Poor Man's Whiskey

October 2025

Crystal Bay Casino is celebrating Halloween with the Creeper’s Ball. Come and dance the night away on Friday, October 31st with Poor Man’s Whiskey performing inside the Crown Room at Lake Tahoe’s Crystal Bay Casino, which also includes a free after party with Tracorum. Poor Man’s Whiskey, Northern California’s favorite high-energy outlaw bluegrass band, will be performing their interpretation of “Dark Side of the Moon,” with plenty of room for everyone to dance within the Crystal Bay’s signature performance hall.

It’s always a treat to see Poor Man’s Whiskey when they come back to play music here. The group brings their assortment of instruments which includes a banjo, guitars (electric and acoustic), a stand-up bass, drums, and of course keyboards. Sometimes even a horn section joins in the fun.

This show will be a very special experience! Set number one, will be some wonderful original tunes, leaving set number two, for their bluegrass rendition of “Dark Side of the Moon,” taking the Pink Floyd classic and adding their own bluegrass twist.

Everyone is encouraged to come dressed as your favorite Wizard of Oz character and join in the fun!

A free after Party with Tracorum will happen after the Poor Man’s Whiskey show! Tracorum is a cosmic funk band that will be fun to dance the Halloween night away to!

Tickets to Poor Man’s Whiskey on October 31st at the Crystal Bay Casino are available here.
