Photographer’s notebook: Travis Tritt kicked up his boots high for the folks at TJ’s Corral on Friday night at the Carson Valley Inn. A nice warm day had everyone dressing comfortable, with no shortage of cowboy boots and hats. A sold-out crowd welcomed Tritt and his band with open arms and ears. Folks were dancing and cheering along, singing, too, of course.

Over the years, Travis Tritt charted more than 40 times on the Hot Country Songs charts, including five No. 1’s — “Help Me Hold On,” “Anymore,” “Can I Trust You with My Heart,” “Foolish Pride” and “Best of Intentions” — and 15 additional Top 10 singles.

He brought the hot hits onstage Friday at TJ’s Corral, and fans whooped it up. “Troubled” was the final song of the night. But no one seemed troubled at all, with smiles all around.
