On Saturday, July 5th Zepparella, the all female tribute act known for their brash and hard rocking renditions of Led Zeppelin songs, brought the arena rock band’s most well known tunes alive and rocked Crystal Bay Casino’s Crown Room! When they hit the stage with “Good Times Bad Times” the sold out crowd went crazy, and started singing and dancing to the music. Vocalist Anna Kristina paused for a moment to welcome everyone and let the crowd know that they were happy to be back in Lake Tahoe’s Crystal Bay Casino before Zepparella started up again and launched into a magical medley of Led Zeppelin’s greatest hits.

They played such a fun selection of Led Zeppelin’s greatest songs, complimenting a selection with wild guitar and the occasional harmonica solos. Some of the tunes included “Bring It On Home”, “Rock and Roll”, “The Ocean”, “The Lemon Song”, “Dazed and Confused”, and “Immigrant Song”. The group’s keen attention to sounding like the originals was like taking a trip back in time.

At one point, Kristina told the crowd how important it was for Zepparella to keep Zeppelin’s music alive, just before the Bay Area based group kicked into high gear for the remainder of their two hour show, closing with another fan favorite “Whole Lotta Love”, while the entire crowd remained singing louldly to the music.
