Happy Halloween from the Creeper’s Ball at Crystal Bay Casino’s Crown Room!! October 31st was full of spooky fun with lots of amazing costumes and exciting music from Poor Man’s Whiskey along with an after party with Tactorum inside the casino’s Red Room!

Poor Man’s Whiskey this evening was a 6-piece band, with a keyboard, banjo, acoustic and rhythm guitars, stand up bass, percussion and my personal favorite, a Violin.

Poor Man’s Whiskey started the night off with a set of their own original tunes that got everyone dancing! After a short intermission, the band returned to the stage with what everyone was waiting for! Band members had donned costumes from the Wizard of Oz. This set was called ”Darkside of the Moonshine.” It is an original bluegrass interpretation from Pink Floyd’s classic album, “The Dark Side of the Moon.” And it didn’t disappoint for a minute! They even had Wizard of Oz movie clips running on screens behind either side of the band.

The group started their second set with an incredible version of some favorite Pink Floyd tunes, “Us and Them,” “Time,” and “Speak to Me.” Everyone was enjoying this wonderful show!

During the break from sets there was a costume contest, which lots of people entered, but only 3 top prizes were given out, to colorful costumes.

When Poor Man’s Whiskey was done performing, most people moved into the Red Room to listen to Tactorum and continue dancing the night away. What a memorable experience!

Thank you to Crystal Bay Casino for having this wonderful Creeper’s Ball, and to Larry Sabo for these amazing photos of the Band and the great costumes!
