Dirtwire exploded on The Hangar stage on June 19th. David Satori of Beats Antique, Evan Fraser of Hamsa Lila and Mark Revely play a massive array of uncommon, traditional and modern instruments, including West African kamale ngonis, jaw harps, space fiddles whamola bass, bowed banjoes and 12 string guitars.
They are well known for pioneering ‘back porch space cowboy blues,” as they combine their traditional world folk instruments with modern 808 beats and laptop production to create a seamless blend of Delta Blues, Americana World Music laced with electronic bass and a modern synth element.
Everyone there had a wonderful time dancing to this band!
