What an amazing show we had at The Grand Theatre inside the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino with The Dead South and Angry Zeta! We were lucky to have Angry Zeta open, an incredible band all the way from Buenos Aires, Argentina. They kicked off the party with such high energy. Like The Dead South, Angry Zeta blends folk and deep country styles of music. With five members, they had fantastic choreography that perfectly matched the beats and dancing.

The night’s headliners Canadian four piece The Dead South took the stage and kept that same energy going. The way this band carries themselves and captivates the audience is truly remarkable. They played some of their biggest hits, including “In Hell I’ll Be in Good Company”, “That Bastard Son”, and “Banjo Odyssey”. The set definitely embodied the spirit of old Southern country music with a church-like atmosphere. The harmony between the instruments was absolutely stunning. With both bands, it was definitely a concert not to be missed.
