Denver six piece band The Motet rolled into Lake Tahoe’s Crystal Bay Casino and absolutely tore the roof off the place! From the moment they took the stage, it was clear that this was going to be one unforgettable night filled with funky grooves and infectious energy.

The band kicked things off with some serious jams, and the atmosphere quickly transformed into a full blown dance party. The group’s keyboardist, Joey Porter, was a standout, unleashing his signature sound with an impressive combination of skill and charisma. His talk box moments were particularly electrifying, adding a unique layer to the already rich musical tapestry the band wove throughout the evening.

Another highlight of the night was my introduction to Sarah Clarke, whose soulful voice complemented the band’s dynamic perfectly. When she took the spotlight, it was clear she was not messing around.

Overall, The Motet delivered a phenomenal performance that left the audience buzzing with excitement. If you ever get the chance to catch them live, don’t miss it! They truly know how to throw a dance party that gets everyone moving and grooving. What a night!
