Dig it: The “Dancing Queen” appeared at Lake Tahoe over the Thanksgiving weekend. Abbacadabra: The Ultimate ABBA Tribute performed two shows in the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe South Shore Room. ABBA dominated the radio air waves in the 1970s and ’80s. The Swedish band sold more records than any other group in Europe. Gary Raffanelli, who saw ABBA perform in 1979, ambitiously arranged about 20 of the iconic songs such as “Dancing Queen,” “Take A Chance On Me” and “Fernando,” each played by an all-star cast of musicians from the Reno-Tahoe area.
