VTA & Friends perform Saturday, Dec. 14 in the T-Bar Social Club at June Lake. Tickets are $5, or $17 with a shuttle from Canyon Lodge, which leave at 8 p.m. and returns 10 minutes after the show.
VTA & Friends perform alternative, soulful, funk, rock and jam tunes mixing up originals and twists on epic covers.
VTA / Vincenzo Thomas Amato born in LA and raised in Reno / Lake Tahoe. Vincenzo moved back to Los Angeles, CA in 1996 and attended Musicians Institute in Hollywood, then founded the funk/rock/jam band SUPER J. The band played many local clubs & festivals on the West Coast for 7 years. In 2003 Vincenzo branched out on his own to embark on his solo project: VTA
Vincenzo has opened & performed with some of the most prominent bands in the music industry: Robby Krieger of The Doors, The Samples, Fishbone, Billy Idol, Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Peter Cornel, Rashawn Ross of the Dave Matthews Band, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Stars, Pato Banton, Anuhea , Skillinja, Josh Heinrichs, Marlon Asher, Kyle Smith, LAW, The Back of The Hand Allstars.
