Vokab Kompany is a livetronica and hip-hop band formed by Robbie Gallo (aka Rob Hurt) and Matt Burke (aka Burkey Baby.) Expect funk, soul and glitch hop sounds to get you dancin’ on the beach. Vokab Kompany opened the Lake Tahoe Reggae Festival last year at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Black Star Safari is a rock and roll duo featuring Dan Green on guitar and vocals and Matt Mandella on drums and vocals. They play a mean “Black Betty” and add high-energy funk and a touch of folk to their shows.
