Taking Root, a homegrown reggae band from South Lake Tahoe, will take the stage at 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17. No cover charge. Fans must be 21 or older and can enjoy Tahoe Blue Vodka drink specials throughout the night. Positive vibrations also will be on tap. Taking Root will pour out a wide range of music, from old-school Bob Marley tunes to Sublime to contemporary Cali reggae, all with a South Shore twist.
