Steve Miller and Peter Frampton will rock the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys on Friday, Aug. 17
Do you feel like I do?
This one seems like an old-fashioned Day on the Green at the Oakland Coliseum. Steve Miller, The Space Cowboy and Gangster of Love, will be joined by Brit pop-rocker Peter Frampton at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, for a concert under the stars at the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys.
Tickets for the all-ages show are $139.50, $69.50 or $39.50, plus fees and taxes, at apeconcerts.com or ticketmaster.com.
Frampton joined the Steve Miller Band on tour last summer. Both artists said they look forward to a reunion in 2018.
“2017 was an amazingly beautiful, creative and rewarding music experience for our band and our audience,” Miller said. “The band and production crew are working on creating an even better concert experience for 2018 and plan on wading even deeper into the musical waters. Peter Frampton and I enjoyed last summer. There is so much to explore and we are really looking forward.”
Frampton added: “Having had such a fantastic tour together last summer, Steve and I decided to keep going this year! Jamming together each night during Steve’s set is one of my favorite moments of the evening. Can’t wait to get back out there.”
Frampton left the band Humble Pie in 1971 to start a solo career that included the seminal 1976 album “Frampton Comes Alive!”
