Snakeboy Johnson passed the audition. He will appear for the second at Tuesday Night Blues with the Buddy Emmer Blues Band at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe. His debut was Dec. 26 and he appears to have earn a spot in the Harrah’s rotation. Johnson plays “Texas Rockin’ Blues,” which is right up the alley of Emmer, a Texas native. Johnson earned his blues moniker from a drummer in Austin, where he used to live. Johnson plays a vintage Stratocaster. He’s opened for a couple of all-time Texas greats, Johnny Winter and Albert Collins.
