Sierra Hull

Singer-mandolin player Sierra Hull debuts at the Crystal Bay Casino at 9 p.m. Saturday, May 6, in the Crown Room. An opening artist will be announced. Tickets for the seated Crown Room show are $20. The Red Room after-party band is Royal Jelly Jive.

A native of Tennessee, Hull signed her first record deal when she was 13 years old. She was mentored by Alison Krauss, with whom she performed in 2011 at the White House. Hull performed at the 2013 and 2016 High Sierra Music Festival in Quincy. The bluegrass star is now 25 years old. Her Grammy nominated album, “Weighted Mind,” produced by Bela Fleck, is out on Rounder Records.

A Bay Area band, Royal Jelly Jive, plays a blend of soul, swing and hip-hop.
