Southern bred, but New York City-based, Reformed Whores will perform in the Alibi Ale Works – Truckee Public House at 9 p.m. Saturday, March 24. It will be their first Lake Tahoe appearance since 2013 when they opened for Les Claypool’s Duo de Twang in the Crown Room. With more than a million views on YouTube and a growing list of TV appearances, the Brooklyn based pair are set for a prime time spot on the national comedy scene. Their sophomore record “Don’t Beat Around the Bush” debuted in the top 20 on the iTunes comedy album chart, and most recently their full length show Grand Ole Cuntry premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe! Their show was hailed by the press as “A magnificently bawdy celebration of female sexuality” and “Genuinely endearing and unflinchingly upbeat.”
