Whiskey Dick’s Saloon in South Lake Tahoe on Saturday, Sept. 12, will be the site of a Punk vs. Metal battle. The punk bands representing the East Bay, Sacramento and Reno are United Defiance, Heroes at Gunpoing, Dead Weight and Me Time. Representing California for the Metalheads are Lord of War, Wrvth, Extripate and the mysterious noisemaker known only as tba. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the music starts at 8 p.m. Cover: $7.
