Prezident Brown will perform Friday at the T-Bar Social Club in June Lake. Tickets are $22 in advance or $27 at the door or $34 with shuttle, which leaves Mammoth Von’s Parking Lot at 7 p.m. and returns 10 minutes at the conclusion of the show.
Born Fitz Albert Cotterell, Prezident Brown has been called, “one of the most interesting cultural dee-jays since U Roy”. Emphasizing positive messages, Prezident Brown has continued to pioneer his own direction, developing his own approach to dee-jaying that he calls, “The chanting stylee”. Born to a Seventh Day Adventist family in Colonel Ridge, Clarendon, Prezident Brown grew up in the small town of Oracabessa in the Parish of St. Mary, Jamaica.
