Old Dominion’s Meat and Candy Tour is coming the the Grand Sierra Resort.
Proving that they are not your average country band, Old Dominion blends old-fashioned country charm, lyrical wit and rock n’ roll grit into radio-friendly, hook-heavy pop nuggets.
Old Dominion has emerged as one of the hottest breaking bands in country music. Their first full-length album, Meat and Candy, was named RIAA-certified GOLD and called a “deceptively smart, occasionally cheeky, stellar debut,” by Entertainment Weekly. Hits including “Break Up With Him”, “Snapback” and “Song For Another Time” revealed Old Dominion’s ability to fuse clever lyrics with infectious hooks and rhythms.
In 2016, the band was named the Academy of Country Music’s ‘New Vocal Group of the Year’, American Country Countdown Awards’ ‘Breakthrough Group of the Year’, Association of Independent Music Publishers’ ‘Songwriter Artist of the Year’, and Music Row’s ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year’.
In March this year, Old Dominion released their latest life-affirming, feel-good single, “No Such Thing as a Broken Heart.”
