Nashville Nights Showcase: Kalie Shorr, Ellee Duke

Singer/songwriters Kalie Shorr and Ellee Duke will be featured in the Nashville Nights Showcase on Friday, April 28, at Carson Valley Inn. Music starts at 7 p.m. in the Valley Ballroom with a show featuring up-and-coming country artists. Tickets are $15, available at the hotel front desk or by calling (775) 783-6606. Kalie Shorr, 22, burst onto the Nashville scene in 2016 with her self-penned hit “Fight Like a Girl.” She hails from Portland, Maine, and recently released a 5-song EP, “Slingshot.” Ellee Duke is a Utah native now based in Los Angeles. She turned down a coveted spot on American Idol to pursue her own music and artistic freedom.
