Nahko and Medicine for the People will appear in the Crystal Bay Casino Crown Room on Wednesday, Aug. 22. The band plays spirit inspired hip-hop, folk, jazz, tribal sounds. The album “Hoka” was named Record of the Year by Native American Music Awards. The opening band is Xiuhtezcatl. Tickets are $30.
