Mumbo Gumbo

Concerts at Commons Beach in Tahoe City features Mumbo Gumbo from 4-7 p.m.

Mumbo Gumbo has been known to get the Lake Tahoe crawdads hoppin’ at Commons Beach with its “rootsy mix of dance music.” The Sacramento-based septet has returned to Tahoe for two decades. “Mumbo Gumbo blends many genres — from rock to soul, afro-pop  to balladry, zydeco to country — into a celebratory, danceable noise,”  delighting crowds of all ages.
