Mudd Bonz: Reno Blues Society’s Mardi Gras

The Reno Blues Society will hold its annual benefit for their music grant program with the festive Mardi Gras Dance Party Saturday, Feb. 29, at the Ramada Inn in Reno. Veteran South Lake Tahoe blues band Mudd Bonz will headline with doors opening at 7pm and music from 7:30 to 10:30pm. Great blues music to dance to, costume contests, a 50/50 raffle and an extensive silent auction with dinner and show packages, guitars, gift certificates and many other items to bid on are all part of the evening’s festivities.

Tickets are $20 and available in advance or at the door the night of the event. Advance tickets are available at the Melting Pot and Recycled Records in midtown Reno and Hippies Pipes and Incense on Victorian Avenue in Sparks. Tickets may also be purchased on the Reno Blues Society’s website, www.renobluessociety.org.
