MONKEY brings its ska music at 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Whiskey Dick’s Saloon. Free show for guests 21 and older. MONKEY is a five piece high-energy organ driven, ska/reggae group from the Bay Area. Its intense live shows and rock-steady rhythms not only get the crowds dancing, it has won the band several awards, including the prestigious California Music Award. MONKEY has four full-length albums, and has also been featured on more than 25 compilations, video games and film soundtracks, including the independent horror-comedy Russ Meyer tribute “Pervert the Movie” on Stag Films.
